School Discounts

We are able to offer schools an efficient and prompt supply service, with a generous sliding discount scheme for orders. Alternatively schools can choose to have their discount in ‘free’ books. Orders are invoiced on 30 days credit terms.  To open an account, just send a request on official school headed paper, giving a contact name, and your account will be opened within days. Delivery is free to schools within a 10 mile radius of Reigate.

Class Visits

We are always keen to open children’s eyes to the joy of a good book. To this end we are happy to receive class visits from schools. We will show the children around the store, give them an upbeat talk on how wonderful books are and read them a story before they leave. Visits usually last about an hour and are free of charge. Please call to book your class in.

School Events

We are happy to supply stock for school book weeks, parents’ evenings or author visits, either as firm sale, attracting 10% commission on all sales for your school, or on a sale or return basis, as long as unsold stock is returned in a saleable condition by a mutually agreed date. Please contact us by phone, fax or email well in advance so that stock can be ordered in good time for your event and to discuss your exact requirements.

Book Fairs

At Bookworms, the hard work really is taken out of school book fairs. Publicity material is provided, and the setting up, selling, and clearing away are all done for you. There are no forms or catalogue ordering for you to do. A wide range of books, chosen in consultation with you from up to 40 different publishers, gives the children a real book buying experience - they get to take their books away with them there and then.

This service leaves teachers free from the hassles associated with catalogue based book fairs and 10% of the value of sales on the day will be given back to the school in the books of your choice.
